Carpenter with New England Build & Design, Freeport, Maine. Worked one-on-one with master builder developing deeper understanding of craft. Major residental renovation, new construction, framing to finish carpentry.

Project Manager at Rancho Mastatal Sustainable Living Center, Mastatal, Costa Rica. Built structures with site-milled wood, bamboo, river stones and other natural materials. Projects included outdoor bamboo solar shower, an innovative bamboo treehouse, bamboo barn. Managed volunteers and projects, operated the ranch in owner’s absence. Worked daily with locals in rural community, while learning Spanish language and Latino culture.

Carpenter with Richard G. Beller Architect and Construction, San Luis Obispo, California. Worked closely with architect/contractor, and master carpenters, building environmentally-conscious high-end custom houses.
